Any washing machine reccommendations?

My washing machine just died rather spectacularly. Mind you it is over 10 years old! I need a new one ASAP but there are so many out there. I need a domestic machine obviously; but I also need to wash horse rugs etc so the new one needs to be big enough and robust enough.

Can anyone point me toward - or away from! - any particular makes? Ideally I need to order something by the end of the weekend.

We've got one of the big Dyson's (I think it is called a contra-rotator or something) and it's been great - it takes my full neck heavy weight turnouts no problems!

I've got an LG Direct Drive Washing Machine. They do some of those machines with large load capacity. We didn't have the biggest drum size as we didn't want it to sit out from the line of base units.

We have an LG direct drive machine too. Think ours is an 8kg and can happily get a 6'3" sweat sheet, couple of numnahs, bandages and some towels in there. Could probably get more in but i never have that much in one go to wash.

Miele. Not sure whether they do bigger than average capacity, but am very pleased with mine.

I also have a Dyson washing machine, bloody brill

esp for horse rugs as a very big drum... don't think Dyson make the washing machines anymore.
