Anybody else do the Stockland Lovell Fun Ride?

H and I, along with a friend and her NF gelding did the Stockland Lovell fun ride today. We had great fun, but the first 10 minutes were stress city, as the first part of the ride was around the schooling areas of the XC course.

It was my and H's first fun ride, so a slightly less 'exciting' start would have been better. Anyway, we survived, has some great gallops / canters (discovered H does know how to jump ditches) and some very enjoyable riding in the company of mostly very nice, considerate riders.

OH! And we got our first every rosette

Anyone else go?

My loan horse I'm getting back did!! They had a very nice time!! They are doing Badminton next week and I'm going as pit crew!

We are also due at Badminton as well.

My OH is seriously peed off, as her mare is recovering from a joint problem and she has been advised not to take her, so my friend and I will be out together again.

not this one unfortunately, couldn't go this time as i've just got a new 4 yr old

- perhaps will aim for next year. went a few years back and had a really good day.
