I registered my interest in volunteering for 2012 ages ago, and today is the day you can start to apply to be a volunteer.

Anybody else thinking of volunteering?

yes....I have done mine!

I would *love* to be involved in the equestrian bit, but I would go anywhere....It's a once in a lifetime opportunity imo....

Yeah I got mine!! I have just got a full time job though so don't think I will be able to as will be working ...hmmm, what to do!?

I really want to fence judge for the eventing!!

You have to be 18 on the 1st January 2010, and Im 18 on the 1st March

TG - I thought you had to be 18 at the time the Olympics actually take place? Just what I heard on the news earlier, I could be wrong - but worth a look...

I actually cried when i saw that! I was DESPERATE to help out, more so if I could help out in the Equestrian part. I mean, its gonna be a LONG time till the UK gets the olympics again!
