Anybody else getting ready to tart up stables

So everything has been cleaned down ready for painting, got my brushes,paint and white sprite and enough wood preservative from last year to the outside. Anybody else gearing up to doing the same to their stables?

All the paint got delivered the other day....bosses kids are back tonight for the holidays now....so it's painting free for all this week me thinks lol!

yes me 2 we have knocked to wall down and builder is starting to rebuild them 2mrw then the place is getting all painted

Yes I am! The tack room is empty, but now waiting for the Swallows to fledge, so that I can clear out the bedding and then zap them with with the pressure washer ..... whoops the stables, not the baby Swallows

Ohhh yes the time of year is here again...
Got a date to empty our stables, throw our girls out in the paddocks, clean down and paint up
Can't wait for it to be finished but likelihood is Kelly will only poo up the freshly painted wall like last year....

Me too! Emptied all the old bedding out on Thursday and swept stables. Going to take rubber mats out and disinfect stables this weekend.

Yup, stable has been powerwashed, need to get the inside painted white ready for the winter, try and brighten the place up a bit!

Yep! 19 of the 22 boxes have been power washed and white washed and some have been painted, I spent today painting more of them. The final 3 will be done when there are other stables ready for the horses to move into.

As soon as the swallows have gone the vacuum will be out to tidy up the cobwebs and the painting will begin. Were all starting to prepare for winter on the yard.
