Anybody else had naked horses today?

My two fluffy cobs had a great day rolling without their rugs today for the first time since September! Back on tonight though getting chilly again! Feels like spring is approaching!! Exciting!!!!

Yes my tb was out naked today! Mud monster to say the least!

mines had lots of naked days - hes a stocky cob only minimal chest clip and only has rugs on (lightweight) when its never above freezing - hes fine and happy though very very mucky!

Mine isn't clipped so is naked all the time! Has not been out in fields lately though as they are closed because of flooding

Nope, she's grey and the fields an absolute bog she wasn't too warm in her lightweight though

Crikey I'm in the cairngorm area and mine have been out nude during the daytime for most of the winter esp in the snow as they love a good wriggle in it.....

Yes mine not really been rugged unless it was wet... It was nice to see them buckaroo-ing in the sunshine. My filly slipped though so is absolutely plastered!!!

I gave the job of brushing to some unsuspecting horsemad child that should put them off!!

I spent about 3 hours grooming them silly last night. Had them gorgeous, even plaited two of them up!

This morning was gloriously sunny so I thought 'oh, go on then..'

Went out, came home to find the mud monsters stood at the gate.

Grey welshies belly is now an interesting shade of brown, my chestnut is now a liver chestnut with a slight cushings hint to her coat and the bay is just a bloody brown

Mine have been naked right through except trying (terrifying) my youngsters with the cheap fleece things from lidl a few times

One of mine went out in a no fill rug purely because of the amount of mud. Doing up the surcingles I did notice how much weight he had lost over the winter though and had to shorten them

I turned out in lightweights because of the mud!! Would have been naked if the fields were drier!
