Anyway, always open to meeting the HHO lot,pm me if you will be there, or I'm sure everyone knows my horse so if you spot us give a yell! Plus I have rasberry vodka, no one can turn that down, surely!?

Just had a look on the Website, this is what it says..
"

There has been no heavy rain so far today, and the winds have helped to dry out the course, which is now (Saturday at 7pm) officially rated as good to soft with soft patches.

Consequently the Fernie Team Chase and Humberts National Championship 2008 will go ahead, unless there is significant rain overnight. In the event that does happen, a further precautionary inspection may be necessary at 7.30am on Sunday morning. However without rain overnight, that inspection will not be required.

Contingency arrangements have been made to circumnavigate any problem areas that may develop overnight on the course, and some minor changes have already been made this afternoon.

It would be helpful if all teams could arrive well in advance of their advertised start times to assist us with getting horseboxes and cars on and off the vehicle parks. It is essential that we keep the event running to the published times, for everyone's enjoyment, and there may well be slightly longer delays than usual in getting vehicles parked.

If a further inspection does become necessary, an announcement will be posted on this website as well as the automatic telephone messaging service on 0116 279 3133.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Tur Langton on Sunday for Humberts 'Finals Day'."

Thanks, it's really not the best time to be one of the last teams to go is it.

Oh well, I think our boys will cope with the mud!

Friend walked the course this morning and said it is fine.

Mind you, she's going at about midday so I wouldnt like to hazard a guess as to what it'll be like by 4.30pm.

There's always the beer tent though!

I'm almost more bothered about the pissing rain and freezing cold than the ground!

"There's always the beer tent though!" You'd think so wouldn't you, it blew down at the Badsworth TC!

There was still beer - just no tent!

Course is apparently walking fine although that was at 3pm (ish), have had more rain through the course of night, but don't foresee it causing any problems.

Will see you there tomorrow pm then
