Anybody got a jeffries falcon hawk event saddle ?

I have been fancying buying (looking 2nd hand) one of these saddle as we had an old one but it is out on loan with our 7 year old. I currently ride in an ideal grandee which is OK but not quite as comfortable as the falcon one we had. However it has been fitted by a saddler (who didn't have a second hand falcon). Any coments much appeciated (to help me make my mind up !)

We've had one for almost five years. It is very hard-wearing, versatile (daughter has gone on to do mainly SJ at a moderate level with it) and still cleans up really well.

Yes, but it's a 16" wide fit - pony one.

I had one - it came with my lad but sadly it was too small for my ample behind, but I loved it. It's now with another horse on our yard and its new owner says the same as me - soft, comfortable and light (much lighter than the Albion I replaced it with). Wouldn't hesitate in buying one if I was you!

I have one too, and love it, it comes up brand new when its cleaned, even though I'm not the best at taking care of it.

i have one (not sure its an event saddle though, its a jeffries falcon alder?) Its the most comfortable saddle in the world!! I love it and would consider buying another one second hand if this one ever wears out!

had it 6-7 years (bought second hand in vgc) and it still looks great now, esp when clean up!

I have one for my mare, we have had the saddle for about 6 years now and is still in brilliant condition. Its very comfy

Love them but now prefer the Hilton saddles, but you can only get them if you are in Wales or the Midlands as they are made to measure for each horse and not that expensive!

I have one and although it is comfy I have got too used to jumping in my K2 and have realised my lower leg is awful.
