Anybody had A lumbar puncture??

had one last monday! back is killing still|! would you say it is ok to ride now? I have them rather frequently for pressure around my brain!

Yes I have - i feel your pain not the nicest thing to have done! Poor you having to have them frequently x

Please don't ask people on a forum about something so important to your health. Phone your doctor/ consultant to check.

Really feel for you having them so often, my brother had leukemia for 2 years and he always hated them and was so sore after. If in doubt don't risk it. Hope you're less sore soon though xx

Ooh have you got IIH?? (I have ) I would say its fine to ride as long as you take it easy

Yup! when I was 16 for menegitis...(sp) I had viral type if you are still getting some pain from this I would suggest that you call/see your GP or go to hospital.

Yes I have!! its awful isnt it!! dam headaches and double vision etc etc! am on diamox tablets for it and have regular lumbar punctures..they are thinking along lines of a shunt now!!
how do you manage day to day life?
