But just wondered how your horse is doing now after the raised back/GI problem?

I gave him a loose lunging yesterday which he really enjoyed, so today I took him out for a quite hack, Just seeing if it will loosen him up. Hes moved in too a field with better pasture to see if that helps, and will slowly change his feed to a conditioning feed to get weight on. The new stables are in the making where he will be closer to his friends until then will keep pesturing YO for 24hours turn out. Hopfuly changing his living arragements will make him happier. Keeping a careful watch on his temp, pulse, resp, feed intake, weeing, pooing etc.

Glad to hear it has not turned into anything serious. I am sure with you keeping a careful eye on him he is going to be fine. Probably the wormer or the pasture.

Not sure what type of neck this is classed as, but i'm sure it might be one of what you want! Her stable door used to be too big for her, so she got a bit big underneath! And she's always been a bit cresty...people have thought she's a stallion....

Tia has a lovely crest on her very short neck. It was really hard work to get her to lengthen it. She got it from her dad, a welsh D

I think Tufty has quite a nice neck.

I think that the set-on of the neck is v important too - I hate low-set necks!

This is a 2yo Arab colt with a nicely arched, high-set neck.

This is the mother of the above colt - also with a good, high-set neck.
