I've been advised to have cross country lessons with Ken Spencer by my horse's past owner, as apparently he's really good. has anyone heard of him? Does he have a good reputation?
Seen him at loads of events - friend of mine always seems to follow him into the dressage arena
Lovely guy (he almost ran me over in a warm up arena
) and profusely apologised, rides beautifully on the flat and from what I've seen of him over jumps too. He started Tina Cook's First Flight amongst other known advanced horses.
There would be much worse people to have lessons with IMHO given his ability on a horse from what I've seen. No idea what his teaching demeanor is like though
Apparently he's quite a successful eventer, and trained my horse a couple of years ago, so I thought i might go to him for a lesson or two. Its nice to know he's got a good reputation
