I was just wondering if any of you know what this is? insect bite?

dont know if this will help but she is a 9 month staffie x, it is situated right behind where her collar sits on her neck.

do you people think its serious for a vet vist? or is there something i could try at home?

Could be a bite .
If you had a mozzie bite would you go to the doctor? I assume the answer would be yes if it swelled up or went manky but otherwise no. I think it is a wait & see.
