Hi!
Ok so im contemplating on coming over to the UK and working for 1 year in a private barn... I want to then return to NZ and start college.
This would be in 4 years time.
What are the chances that i would be taken on do you think??
I am primarily a show and dressage rider. I also do Show Hunter, Show jumping and sometimes i do Eventing.
I have alot of knowledge around young horses having broken in 4 myself and Schooling them.
I am an absolute perfectionist when it comes to turnout and just recently I won Best Presented (Smartest on Parade) Large Pony of the Year....
Would i have a good chance of being hired?

Yes, I think there would be a good chance of getting work, I would wait till nearer the time and make contact with a NZ rider who competes in the UK if possible, other than that read the Horse and Hound, and target some of the top yards. I think you may need a work permit, but NZ House will advice, as it is also for studies. I wonder if you could apply for some sort of scholarship to study abroad.
