As title really , I used my old normal draw reins till they broke so now would like to get the ones you see on the german auction horses when they are lunged . Ones that have a loop or clip both ends and can be adjusted not like normal draw reins with a buckle at the riders end.

If you find out please let me know. I had a set years ago that I lunged with that were adjustable but they eventually died and I had to make do with tying a knot in a set to get them to the right length! Was thinking of butchering a set of side reins and sewing in the elastic inserts and a buckle to adjust them, but just finding a set to buy would be much easier!

I used balancing side reins. Mine are totally elastic and you can jump little jumps in them (my instructor, a FBHS had me popping over little jumps in them) but are also great for lunging.

I think they are known as Vienna reins. I don't know where to get them from though. years ago my trainer had several pairs made up by the saddler.
Just seen some on ebay £40. Lauffer/vienna reins
