A friend and I are travelling up to Express Eventing this Saturday as our boss is competing, but we're a bit unsure as to what is the best route!
I'm going from Warwickshire (on leave with injury) and my friend is coming from Somerset.
Have found instrucions on the HorseWorldLive website, but what do you guys think is the best idea?
It's possible to drive and it would take me 2 and a half hours (dressage starts 9.30), or to take the train (it says Canning Town to Beckton via DLR).
So being a country bumpkin and all... what are you guys doing? Not sure if I should just drive to save us getting lost (!) or if we should be brave and train to avoid traffic.
If you think train, do you book your tickets online or just turn up??
Thanks
