Hi, Im looking into hiring a bit for my horse and have tried several bit hire companies in the past and have been left dissapointed. My friend told me about Horse Bit Hire and said they were fairly new but really easy to deal with. I was just wondering if any one else has ordered with them in the past and if you could tell me of your experiences and if you would recommend them or not?

Hi I used the Horse bit shop (.co.uk) and it was brilliant. Had to pay for 30 day trial but the waterford didn't work and really glad I could send it back as a Nue Slue and really pricey!!!

I have tried horsebithsop in the past and had to wait ages before i received my bit and they had taken my money too before i had even received it ! a few of my friends had the same problem too around the same time which is why when my friend recently recommended horse bit hire i wanted to know first if anybody has any feedback to give me.

i have used horse bit hire and yes i would definately recommend them. i myself have had problems in the past with other bit hire companies but when i found horse bit hire they were fantastic. I spoke to a lady called gail and she helped advise me on my horse(milly) and i eventually took the neue schule verbindend and i have not looked back since. some of my friends have ordered from them too and they have had no complaints at all ;)

Funny enough my bit arrived yesterday after ordering and paying for it the day before!!! Incredible speedy service. Very impressed with the speed and level of information I got from the lady who I think was called Jodie.

However, one very small gripe (unless I've read this wrong in their) the bit which happens to be a trans angled pelham is marked (its obviously been hired out before despite having labels attached to it). I feel that they should enclose paperwork to the effect that the bit they've hired out is marked in such a way as I feel I want to ring them up to explain where its marked in case I need to return it and they say my horse has marked it. Its like hiring a car, someone will give you paperwork to the effect that the car is dented scratched prior to you hiring it, so you don't get blamed when its returned in that state. Anyone else think the same as me???
