Am new to scotland, having previously hunted with the Atherstone down south, and just wondered if anyone here has any experience with the Eglington or Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire fox hounds?
Am aiming for saturdays meet, will there me much jumping, if so hedges, stone walls etc, only i have a pick of 2 horses and wondered if i should take the bolder jumper.
Thanks in advance for any help..!

Not really sure what the script is with the Eglinton at the moment - we used to go with them but have been qualifying pointers with the L&R this season instead (think there's politics of some sort going on with the Eglinton which is a shame). I was supposed to be going tomorrow but got to work grr. I've only been out with the L&R 4 times, so far I've not encountered too many jumps and certainly nothing particularly frightening, you might get some cross country fences in if you're around Corsliehill but not sure where the meet is this week. There are a lot of stone walls about but mostly dressed, the ground will most likely be pretty heavy :( We used to generally jump more with the Eglinton and the jumps tended to be a bit beefier but as I said my experience with the L&R is very limited. PM me if you need contact numbers for either of them - should be able to rustle up something for you if you need it! :)
