I've been, but not for BSJA. But they have Humungous outdoor school, just been extended. Is sand and rubber, although new section was just sand as of Saturday.
They also have 25x60 sand and rubber school which is usual warm up for Sj days and a 25x40ish sand and fibre type stuff in another arena, so don't think you'll have any probs with the warm up.
Yep, it's good. Parking can be a bit of a squeeze if it's very busy but other than that everything is great. The surfaces are lovely although the warm up can get deep if it's very wet.
When I went for BSJA last the J/O's seemed huge, 1m open all at 1.10 except the water tray used in first round. That's the only problem with the Jump for Joy fences, I have a bad habit of looking at the height of each one. Prefer summer house and Hartpury where it's not written on wings!!
Its a really nice new venue. The arena is huge - they have recently doubled it in size! Warm up isn't great if they use the one nearest the arena as it gets busy and can get quite deep but they also have another one round the back which is much better.
Parking can be tight if very busy but they are looking to extend this for next year. The owners are very friendly and accomodating.
Chris Napier (previous owner of Gracelands) builds - fences will be well up to height but its much better than being a race against the clock!
