Anyone bought a bit from these people?

Hmmm Id be wary of a new trainer expecting me to part with £100 ..... second opinion maybe?

Some trainers so have their own 'favourites', they dont necessarily work on every horse!

Personally Id be after hiring one from a bit bank first.

Not come across the vendor you are asking about but the price seems about right for a used hired one.

I have one of these training bits, i use it from time to time and to be honest my horse prefers his £12 rotating lozenged loose ring french link snaffle!- i would try one first before buying!

Have you considered putting a wanted ad out for one?-so people can then approach you if they have one spare! you could try h&h (of course!) or BD web classifieds.

p.s £35 for a second hand one is not a bad price at all!

Thanks, I know he goes well in it because I borrowed one for my lesson, he was like a different horse.

I have!! Bit exactly as described condition wise, genuine from what I can tell (been using daily for a good few months now problem free :) ) Arrived very quickly considering from Germany, and they even popped in a mini bag of Haribo - nom nom one satisfied customer!! Extra bonus that the horse goes beautifully in it ;) lol.

(I was just as dubious as you before I got it - there are a few slightly dodgy looking fakes on ebay - was worried they'd have barbed wire or something in middle lol)
