Anyone bought a good feed bin recently?

Just a quick one- need a feed bin that can stand up to being out in the elements unprotected and of course is rodent-proof.

Are plastic or galvanised metal better? A basic dustbin style (50l/80l/110l) seems cheap as can’t afford the big multi compartment metal ones right now.

Have looked on marketplace but no chest freezers about lol!

I bought two galvanised dustbins for the chicken feed after the rats/squirrels knawed holes in the plastic dustbins. Bought the galvanised ones on eBay £15 each with lids that are fixed with hoops over the dustbin handles so that they can't be lifted or blown off. They have stood out in all weather on bricks to lift them off the ground and are still like new 2 years on.
