Anyone buy shavings online?

I'd like to know too. The websites with branded shavings priced listed, are dearer than my local saddler and the smaller merchants don't tend to list prices on line.

Exactly!
Had a wee look on the likes of ebay at unbranded but I'm not sure I want to go ahead and get anything like that as I don't know if it is dust free (as much as you can get) or with nasty additives :/
 
I don't buy online however after trying many different suppliers I would highly recommend the country wide purple bags own brand. One a week with straw mixed in and the beds are good enough for kings.

What's the difference between the normal stuff and the purple bag?
 
Honest answer.... I don't know. We were advised to buy it as cheaper in bulk orders so used it. Did have one of the other green bags and the flakes were much bigger. Beautiful beds were made from it but did find it had more wasted shavings so I suppose although I don't think much difference I've found the purple easier and less expensive in the long run.

Pleasure, must admit I couldn't find the right words and just hopped you understood lol. It's one of those situations I know what I mean but trying to explain just ends up in a jumble of words.
