Anyone clip their 'Cushings' in winter?

clip mine every 3 weeks summer and winter, if i dont he grows a coat like a highland cow!!

I clip Motor otherwise he resembles a Hereford Cow

... I rug him up really well to ensure he keeps warm though

Not sure what I would do if he lived out, however as most of them require limited grass intake, then I presume most will be stabled over Winter.

As Cushings horses can be prone to skin conditions, then he is better without his coat. I am lucky enough to still be able to ride him, so it stops him getting too hot as well

I do not find it grows back quicker, however it takes until July to lose his Winter coat, just in time for his Winter coat to come through from August

Mind you, I don't clip him that often, but it really needs doing every 4-5 weeks!
