As title really.
I am desperate to clip seren and I think perhaps I could just get an inverter, don't really want to have to spend the money but its getting ridiculous.
We could get electric by next week powered from a generator but there are no guarantees, it was supposed to be done a month ago! grrr
How easy is it and does it work for clipping?
Thanks

I haven't I'm afraid so no help on that front but would it be cheaper to get someone to do her for you with a battery powered set?

Yes- done it loads :) got one from Maplin as you need a decent one to avoid voltage issues and i use an old car battery that doubles up for running electric fence :) can get 3 hunter clips before needing charging again.

It is possible but you will need to keep the engine running whilst you do it, otherwise you will have flattened your car battery by the time you finish. now that would be even more annoying!

Thanks everyone, really helpful. God I wish we had electric, so much simpler :(
I am in two minds as we will have electric soon but I am desperate to clip, don't know any one with cordless clippers unfortunately...
