im having a go at one of the BHS indoor trec's tomorrow, for the first time, thought i'd give it ago as i think pony and i will enjoy it.

anyone else done the indoor trec or Le Trec??

can anyone offer any tips or give me any ideas of what obstacles may be in it? i've heard that most centres have different obstacles.
 
Yes have done one indoor it was great fun!.We had to canter three sides of the school as slow as you can then walk three sides as fast as you can,walk through a corridor,do the S bend,Bend through the poles,Pop a couple of jumps,Leave horse stood for ten seconds,rein back through corridor and mount from the ground,and open a gate.I thoroughly enjoyed it and would def do again.

hopefully it will be the same layout as yours then. some of them you have to lead your horse through a horsebox, my pony will refuse to do that, lol! oh, and sometimes there's a bridge thing, which i dont think alfie will want to walk over! alfie and me are pro's at doing gates tho, we have really difficult ones around our area!
 
Yes, I went to the same one as Rema.
It was very relaxed and very good fun. I came 4th in the Novice. I was soooo chuffed
