Anyone done the Dovedale, Derbyshire walk?

Took Megan my rotti out for the day and did the most amazing walk at Dovedale in Derbyshire. She was wonderfully behaved and managed to cross the river jumping onto each stepping stone with lots of people looking to see if we would have a mishap.

Just a lovely day, and wondered if any of you folks had been there.

Yup, I only live 20 mins away so its rather convenient! Love it to death!

Wow that brought back memories. Did that walk over 30 years ago, I remember I had some photos of my then GSD paddling/swimming alongside us as we crossed the stepping stones. Sounds like it hasn't changed much.

Yep many a time, it is a lovely place, ive also climbed thorpe cloud a few times, (the huge hill there) what a great view from way up there.

My old riding ground, used to trot the horses through there! and then off over the hills -loads of open acces riding and lots of little walls to jump - fabulous place

I have walked those hills many times- it brings back lots of memories.

My enduring memory of climbing Thorp Cloud was seeing countless asthma inhalers that had been discarded en route!!
