Anyone dressage at Kings Sedgemoor?

I haven’t Dressaged there - although I have been with friends who have and it’s very well run and welcoming - but I have been to jump.

It’s a lovely big arena, good surface but very very open. It is in the middle of the Somerset Levels after all!

My horse got complete ring fright and I’m still not really sure why. I think it’s just so big and open that she was a bit overwhelmed as well as having the commentary / tannoy system right at the edge of the arena. I have not had this issue anywhere else and she has done a lot of big shows.

That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back either for Dressage or jumping

I'm a complete nervous wimp ... on a spooky green horse

KSEC have always been great, friendly and with stewarded warm ups when I've been there :) And believe me, theres been scores where i'd have loved to have the venue as an excuse!
