Anyone dressing up ponies/horses for xmas??!

We always do a Santa Light Parade in my town.
I am pretty sure that just abut every rideable or driveable horse in the area gets dressed up and comes to the party.

Pretty boring stuff, a lot of Santas and snowmen ( excellent for putting on over ski gear because usually at this time of year it is about -5C , on a mild evening, by then I just wear a REALLY big red dressing gown ;) ) , horses wearing tinsel, hats and bells. Because it is a Light Parade and obviously after dark most of us have shiny stuff or lights on the horses too.

Sounds amazing💘

F has his own Xmas outfit! Need to find it from last year though, no idea where I put it. Typical F, he broke the unicorn horn rubbing his head on the stable so no unicorn this year, pfft.

Crap with pictures but we have Christmas Dressage every year.

I have done:
Angel on top of the tree - cheapo fairy outfit for me with wings, cheapo green old style sweat rug for Arnie - the net type - cue lots fo tying candy canes, bows, baubles and tinsel onto the 'tree'. We got best dressed :)

Christmas Present on a reindeer - ear covers and an angel hair fringe in mane for Arnie, a massive xmas sack from the pound shop with leg holes cut in it, uber amounts of tinsel and red jods.

Christmas elf - old greed tutu from being a witch at haloween, green jumper, big felt sock from pound shop made into an elf hat over my riding hat, pointy over shoes on my boots (again from the pound shop!)

We put reindeer antlers and santa hats on the horses on Christmas day. They stoically bare it! My daughter tied bells and tinsel to her saddle and bridle last year and the horse didn't care.

I dress up as an elf and decorate my favourite RDA pony too for our Christmas games afternoon. I'd put up a pic up but she's not mine etc :smile3:

Im currently making a xmas fancy dress for my miniature horse. He's going to be a christmas tree including lights and presents. I will post pictures once its complete. :-)
