Anyone else’s horses go out naked today?

First day this year ours went out without rugs on. It was lovely! Hope it stays like this for Sunday as we are taking the horses to the beach.

It’s a nice feeling isn’t it! Yeap ours have gone back on tonight as think it’s going to be frosty in the morning as it’s so clear here.

Yep Naked since 1st March!! Just one with a bedtime rug on cos he is fully clipped and a wimpy warmblood

Yup my TB and old boy had the afternoon naked for the 1st time in such a long time. I was a little reluctant them both being grey but only the steel grey TB rolled in the mud and it was dried by the time I put his rug back on for the night.

Ours have been out naked most days this week then rugged back up at night. Mud scraping - I mean grooming - has been fun each evening!

Lace had her rug on today (-5 at the yard this morning) but after I jumped her this afternoon she went out for a roll and a play in the play pen without her rug on, she certainly enjoyed it

God no, it was minus 6 this morning and we must be in the windiest place in Warwickshire.
However, moody madam appreciated the spring sunshine when I worked her this afternoon and was very obliging!

Took Baz's rug off this afternoon and I certainly think he enjoyed it - he was alternating between galloping up and down the field and doing piaffe and passage!!

I felt like a real party pooper putting it back on tonight (but he'll thank me if there's a frost!)

Yep, mine were all out naked today and loved it. Rugs back on at 4pm though as it's gone cold again.

Yikes no! The sun may be out but its still blinking freezing here! Altho she did stand naked on the yard the other day for 45minutes as its a right suntrap on there. About 6 degrees colder down in her field tho!!

Nope. Still 350g heavyweight during the day, and 300g + under rug at night

But she is totally fully clipped out, legs, head, the lot. And clipped very short. And it was -4 here last night.

nope, mine are still wearing 2x 400g rugs and full necks!!! lol. they are fully clipped out though and are on a hill so it gets very cold in there field

Yep - mine did.

First thing Rosie did was go and find the biggest patch of wet black mud - and roll in it!

Lil was all clean until I got home from work and started lunging Rosie. She knew she was next so off she went to roll - Great!
