Ha ha, yes all the time with my dog but my sister did point out a few years ago when taking my niece and nephew out for the day that they weren't horses - apparently I told them to walk on and clicked at same time !!
I've told my car to whoa when approaching a roundabout... It didn't, i hit brakes rather sharpish so as to avoid another car and decided not to mentally rehearse dressage whilst driving.
I click at the cat constantly- he pays no attention. I poked my boyfriend in the ribs and said OVER in a very firm voice, to get him to move over on the sofa ....he was not impressed ...ooops!
I take my dog out with my bike a lot and she will do trot/canter transition by voice. I have been known to shout 'wrong leg' if I see her barrelling round a corner on the wrong leg
I click and 'stand' my toddler all the time - he actually responds quite well to the tone I think.
I also catch my self telling slow drivers head of me to 'come on kick on' - my OH is very understanding tho!
Nope I now click at the dog and I've done it so much she now knows exactly what it means ha ha!
I have also almost patted and "good boy!"-ed a wheelbarrow before I caught myself ha ha!
My daughters and I used to have fun on aeroplanes - upon touching down we'd all look at each other, lean back and haul on the "reins" until the plane slowed up and taxied under control to the gate. Strong, those planes!
Ha love it! I don't even click horses as its a real pet hate, my daughter click clicks at everything including me if I'm in the way I have told a pushchair to stand!
The dogs get told to " off " the chair, if they are in the way ( they get to climb back onto laps ) and the horses are told to " off " the shavings part of their bed for skipping out. The car is regularly " clicked " at, especially going uphill.
I click at the dog all the time. I also clicked at my friend and said 'move over' poking her to get off the hosepipe she was standing on. Makes it worse that I didn't even realise I'd done it
Apparently I do it in my sleep. OH was rudely awakened the other night with me clicking away and then he got a number of pats on the back and me saying 'good boy' in the middle of the night. We both assume (and hope) that I'm doing lessons in my sleep or else I have a lot of explaining to do
