Anyone else clipped yet?

I had the day off as the nice back man was coming out to see my old girl, so had a short mooch around the woods with my boy, and then finished off by clipping him out.

I now remember why I HATE clipping so much. There is that moment when you are about 2/3 of the way through and you and the horse are totally bored. It was warm this afternoon that I was sweating

I have hair EVERYWHERE! despite my best efforts so will shortly be off for a major soak. Ended up washing down the yard to clear all the hair away

Made a stupid error as I had bought cordless small clippers trimming in the year and got them out to finish off his head. Then found that these clippers take a lot more off than my big ones so ended up having to do his entire head again to avoid a rather hacked look.

I am still coughing up hair and sneezing too. And just think, it will grow back in about 3 weeks time!

I was hoping to wait a while longer, but he was really sweaty tonite jumping, so planning to do tomorrow ready for xcounty on sunday.

I did one of mine 2 days ago. Still picking hair off my (washed) bra!!!!

Plus she was a tetchy cowbag. Ended up only doing a trace clip as opposed a blanket clip as we both got so bored.

I had to do my daughters hairy pony for the second time this week, did it 2 weeks ago and it had already grown back!!! At least hes only little though so only takes me 20 mins!!!

Yes, Manni has had a high chaser clip - he'd been getting very hot, particularly out at autumn hunting. Luckily he is really good and just stands and nods off while the clippers are going over him!

Whilst the weather is nice and mild she's staying out naked for as long as I can so she still has her full coat. (In at night though)

Well I move back to my old yard 2weeks tomorrow so will do it then hopefully.
My current yard has no electricity and my clippers are not cordless, she needs a bit off though as she is getting rather sweaty

Yer hairy welsh pony!! She does do loads with him too, she rides most evenings for 45- 1hr and often till gone 6 and he just gets so sweaty so its easier to take the hair off as hes so small and very good. Although i prob wouldnt have got him done twice if i didnt do it myself and had to pay for it!! hehe
