Wednesday i had a fab schooling session with my boy everything seemed to go right.
This weekend it felt as if i had completely forgotton how to ride! The horse was still very well behaved and apart from the odd unwanted change (probably where iwas not riding him forward enough) was an angel, i however was focusing so much on one thing i forgot about another. Asking for a nice canter, concerntrated so hard forgot to half halt before the downward transition which resulted in a the trot falling in a heap. My heals didn;t want to stay down and my bottom was clearly having a row with the saddle as occassionally didn't want to be sitting on it!
May have had something with me riding my other horse sunday morning who i got on with no saddle, my other horses bridle and he still proceeded to do a beautiful medium trot along the pathway.
Heres hoping i get my mojo back before tomorrow!
