Hacking out today, it felt like I was in the middle of a nursery! We had:
- NF mare biting the bottom of daughter’s pony to get her to go faster;
- little new Welsh A bouncing and showing off behind daughter’s pony when said lovely mini cob’s risk assessment declared the ground still a little wet for her liking and ruled trot only. She was practically shouting ‘ME! ME! I’ll canter for you! Look! Look, I’m doing it now! Ride me instead! Meeee!’ (she was on the lead as is only ridden every other day but always likes to come with us);
- Son’s pony throwing a mini moment about the fact that I went back for another canter without him (not fair!!!);
- Body slamming to get other ponies out of the way by darling NF mare who had run out of patience and other ponies kept going on HER bit of track!
Was generally a slightly over exuberant experience!
Anyone else?
