Anyone else find this video a bit.....hmmmm

Lol - perhaps it's to show that the horse could be a potential Badminton candidate after jumping with distractions like that! :D Wouldn't like to see an accident caused by it though, as you say the horse could misjudge/trip and the dog could easily be squished by a misplaced hoof. :(

Saves taking it for a walk I guess! :p

That dog shouldn't be loose in there, stupid! It does show that the horse is pretty unflappable as were a few near misses there and it didn't put it off it's stride so maybe they did it on purpose.

Am liking the horse a lot though! :)

What a lovely horse, that's the sort I like to jump!

Agree the dog is a bit much, does some pretty last minute dashes in front of the horse which is pushing a bit for everybody's safety IMHO. When's he's alongside or behind, fair enough, but that little horse seems to so honest I'd worry about it stepping on itself if dog darted too tight in front and horse stopped itself from squashing dog.

I'm not saying get the police in to cart them off for animal cruelty by any means i'm just not sure what to think of it and wondered what others thought. It does show the horse is pretty unflappable and obviously the rider trusts the dog to move but i don't think it's a risk i'd take and i just find it a bit of an annoying distraction in the video. I liked the horse in this vid but it looks a bit too much like hard work in the others for me, looks sweet and genuine though

Well the mutt's enjoying himself.

Each to their own I guess, perhaps a little distracting on the vid but you get the general idea, horse can pop a nice round of jumps nicely and keeps his/her mind on the job, which can only impress.

Wonder if you get dog thrown in? if so, I want them both, what a great pair! :D

:o Exactly what my dog Sidney does when I'm schooling Kane...except Sidney actually comes over the jumps too!!! Sidney and Kane grew up together so they are extreamly close and even when we gallop on the beach Sidney runs directly beside Kane's front legs...I know for a fact Kane would avoid hurting Sidney at all costs. Sidney has been a great help with Kanes nappying, with 'his' dog leading Kane gains confidence and is happy to go out alone.

Hmmm well i assume dog, horse and rider survived that occassion so no harm done, it just gives me a bit of an uneasy feeling watching it but then i do have particularly stupid dogs so perhaps that is part of it :)
