Just wondered if anyone had one and whether they come up a bit small?

I am selling the 'Horse' size one I bought in February as it's too small for my 16.1 WBxTB filly. It does fit, just about, but the ring is much narrower than my old Stephen's one and the head peice is too short.

Just wondered if maybe I'd been sent an 'Arab' version by mistake?

Does anyone have one they could measure the head-peice length on, so I can compare??? Please!!

I don't want to list this one on eBay as 'Horse' size if it is, in fact, 'Arab' size. Be just my luck to end up getting negative feedback for misdescribing it. :rolleyes:

PS: I have contacted the shop I bought it from and they've said their paper-work from their US supplier states it IS a 'Horse' size and that they will not accept it back as they had to order it in on a 'special' order basis. :(
 
I have not heard of the Mikmar halters but the same thing happened to Monty Roberts a few years a go on a Demo tour he order hundreds of the Be-Nice pressure halters in U.S. sizes. The horse sizes are much smaller than U.K. horses so towards the end of the tour they had a lot of the small size left.

MR then put the small size on a foal, even though it reared up and went over backwards in the demo all the small sizes sold that night!
 
I don't- but just to say sorry to hear you're having such a nightmare with it as i remember your post when you were looking for a Stephens or similar one!

I think you should complain to the supplier and quote the "distance selling regulations" to them!- you may have done that already of course!

i wonder if you can contact the manufacturer direct for measurements?
