horse/pony that tends to get jeaous?!

My mare is a funny one, normally she loves young horses/ponies so we assumed that she would get on with Haribo (the free foal). As it is she can't stand him, makes her dislike of him VERY clear and I've realised it's probably due to the fact she somehow knows i'm not soley 'her human' anymore! She doesn't like me treating him/grooming him or fussing him etc!
Whereas the other horses she doesn't care, but none of them are also mine!

Silly girl, she's appeased if I spend extra time with her though! Bless.

Yes my filly is a daftie.
I looked after my friends filly for 2 weeks when she went on holiday. They had been paddock pals for well over a year and get on great.
But when I went to take my friends filly in mine got jealous and would squeeze in between us and wouldn't shift, she just kept pushing her head into my hands...waiting on head collar I think and wouldn't let me near the other one.
If I told her to sod off she looked shocked lol :D

Yep....
Kelly continuously shouts if I am down the yard at the other mares stable (she can see me) - and then stands with her bum at the door and ignores me when I return!:p

God forgive me if I ride the other mare out........!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely, he is terrible, I've had him since he was 6 months old and I think it stems from that. If he sees me doing something with another horse he is terrible! If another horse comes near me in the field he is so aggressive, he launches at them.

Nope, mine have always been one of many so know they have to share me. :p
Though i do have a slight exception to the rule, my mare Katie during comp season becomes very protective of me when we are competing. If shes beside me I am not allowed to talk to any other horses or she lunges at them.

When we got horse #2 he and #1 were in adjacent stables with 'friendship bars' Horse #2 was unhandled and we had to do a lot of work with him, he had also never seen a farrier in his life and he was rising three!

The big day arrived and farrier decided to see to the nervy one first and, as he put it, 'If he was still standing he would see to horse #1' Now, horse 1 adored the farrier, which didn't help the situation. We decided to trim in horse 2's stable as he felt secure in there. Simon started trimming and all was going very well, far better than we had hoped. Both fronts were done and he was halfway through the first hind when horse exploded! I gave Simon and filthy look and asked what the h*ll he had done to him and Simon answered, bewildered, 'Nothing!'

Then we noticed his apprentice in fits of laughter. Evil, jealous horse #1 had decided that box walking wasn't getting him the attention he wanted so he had picked up his half full water bucket, pranced round the stable with it and then swung it in the direction of the other horse!! Sure enough, when we looked, horsey was wet down one side!!

For Health and Safety reasons he is now always the first for the farriers attentions!!

Snowy is incredibly jealous of Kestrel. Well all horses really - this morning it got to the point where he actually got shouted at, which is never done with him as he gets so nervous and runs off! He did indeed attempt to run but it did stop him trying to kick the S*&t out of my other one whilst I was leading them up the field. He never used to be that bad at all - its only since having Kestrel abandoned with me that hes got so bad!
