I put a big round bale in for him to eat ad lib as the grazing isnt brilliant. He decided to 'show off' in front of it prancing about and cantering up to it and then tried to mount it..very strange

My retired pony throws a tantrum every time he is taken out of 'his' field and put somewhere else... not so much odd, just serious attitude!!
And my youngster, well where do I start?!?

mine has odd days - her latest one was wen she jumped out of her paddock that she had been happily living in for over a month (had also previously lived in this paddock for agessss) and was found grazing on the other side of a large wheat field then we rode her and put her back in her paddock to find that not 2hrs later my old man was on the fone telling me to catch the horse as she was wandering round the yard!!!!!! very odd behavior!

my horse...

... waits til he's in his stable to wee. i genuinely don't think he wees in the field. if i'm mucking out/putting straw down/etc whilst he's in there, he frets and frets, til i stop and move out of the way so he can wee.

... gets his ENORMOUS willy out at every opportunity. seriously, i've never seen such a long one. it's embarrassing...

... nibbles and chews everything he's not allowed to, but ignores all toys.

... chews my 2 yr old's hair (it's very blond and slightly straw like)

... loves me poo picking in his field. he thinks it's a game. he follows me round, and sniffs every new poo in the wheelbarrow, then runs away... only to run back and start it all again
