I know someone does but I can't remember who!

This little lady is coming home on loan next week :D

I'm a bit excited! My plan is to break her in the spring and try and get to a couple of shows by the end of the summer (just means finding someone to give me a lift!) and generally having lots of fun. I've always wanted a Highland so a bit giddy.

Praying my saddle fits her but think I may have to swap it!

Nope, nobody else on the whole forum does. You're the only one :D

She's lovely, I'm sure you'l have a lot of fun :)

A very nice Highland indeed! It won't take you long to break her either. They are generally fairly easy going, though not necessarily lacking in fizz!

Don't pay any attention to JFTD, she's only got two Highlands and we don't really rate anyone as a Highland owner until they get into double figures!<is there a "hint" smiley?>

I havent, but wish I did. There was a nice young one advertised locally to me recently but double my price tag. I have just bought a lovely young traditional cob. I have been joking with my family that he should see me through till retirement, but before I do I am going to buy myself a young highland and have it broken in for me.

She looks beautiful, a real sweetie. They have lovely characters ... but can be a bit .. well cheeky lol. I would love an overheight one but they are like hens teeth to find!
Please keep us updated with how you get on.

Smudge - you'll have to come up and see her, shes deffo a character but thats how I like them....short and naughty!

Ibble - thank you. Took a long time to convince myself our friend wasn't humouring me and I was good enough. Just giddy now!

Thank you all, shes a little star so very excited and hopefully a nice easy one before I get on saffy the following year.

Other half has found out they're good weight carriers and has decided that when he looses all of his weight he wants to buy one for him

I'm very giddy! I do LOVE my natives and I'm really excited to get to know her and start work in the spring.

Eeek,Ive got her half brother, same sire. Only had him a month and bought him from the lady who had Moriarti, so far hes been an absolute star, hes my first Highland and Im smitten.
