We invested in the freedom pack and used the blades that came with them to start with, but when we changed to the newly sharpened ones back from a reputable place, they work ok to start with them as they get warmer make a horrible noise..
The blades are perfect in our old standard clippers, we've adjusted lots of times but the problem is still there.
Husband rang lister (he's an engineer so understands how things work inside them) and they said run them until they break then send them back!
I've been clipping for over forty years so understand tensioning etc , and wondered if anyone else had encountered the problem with their cordless ones?
Should say the noise is in the clipper body not the blades..

We've had our Lister Showman cordless clippers for years - have clipped numerous cows, calves and horses with no problems. I love them. Sorry you're having problems - cordless clippers are really so much easier.

You obviously spoke to the same person at lister as me, he was very unhelpful and said they wouldn't look at clippers unless they stopped working.

Stand your ground I did. I told them they weren't fit for the job and I wanted a new pair or a refund.

A week later I got a brand new pair of clippers, with a new warranty and this pair work properly.
