Really starting to hate June this year...... And starting to feel sorry for myself!

Had my old pony pts with liver damage on the 12th, He was 23 and had owned me for 15 years....
I had 2 seizures on the 17th and had to stay in hospital and I've not to drive for a year.......
One of my older broodmares died in the field on the 21st in the field. She was 17 and as fit as a fiddle....suspected heart attack....luckily she had no foal this year! thank god!!!
And today...... My newly broken 5 year old threw me off! A huge rear then a flying buck......... lil B*

I've got a huge chunk out of my middle finger, a bump on my head and sore ribs but I did get back on...... was bricking it mind you!!

Lovely black (athletic) dales mare for anyone who makes it this far!

Yikes - that does sound bad. I'm sorry to hear about about all this.

Okay, I'm having a bad month too (though not like you....).

My mare was diagnosed with Lami at the beginning of the month. So box rest for the remainder of the month and into July. My good pal tells me she's moving off to the completely opposite side of the country....then I find out someone I really really really can't stand (someone who's gone out of their way to nasty to me since I ever met her) was moving up to the yard where I keep my horse. And she has...argh!

So that's been June for me. Good news is that it's nearly over!

Oh poops. So sorry hunny. Hugs.

Mine was in months - Lost Tiggy end of October; had an op in November; lost my Mum on Boxing Day; lost my St Bernard in January. And since then life hasn't got much better (but no worse - so far!).
 
Can't wait for july!!!!
Hope your mare gets better...... and better soon!
You will be able to keep in touch with your friend..... and there are always holidays - It will be even better when you catch up!!
Hope the horrible person is being nice to you.......... if not make sure you keep out her way...... it will make it easier for you!!

I forgot to add that a hospital appointment I had on Wednesday means I will need an op on my back..got a strange kind of cyst ... already had it but didn't work first time so I'm peed off about that too!

Really sorry to hear about your horrible month- time to look forward and i hope you have a better July.

My month hasnt been great (although not on the same scale as yours)
Early June my loan horse is advertised for sale ( i knew this was going to happen) but for twice his value and a not 100% honest advert. I find what seems to be the perfect replacemeng loan horse. get everything agreed, and then find it impossible to get hold of the passport and vacc docs etc. so decide to give up. No finding it impossible to find a new loan. and to top it all off, yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of having my old mare pts.

That is really rubbish chestnutgeegee...... Maybe they won't manage to sell the horse because they are not being honest..... it will come back and bite them in the botty..... !

Hey, the good news is that I'm on holiday for the first two weeks in July. So that's an improvement already!

Sorry to hear about everyone's bad times, hope July brings better news for you all.

I'm having a crappy month but on a far lesser scale than all of you but still feel down, my pony who has Bone Spavin has gone from having a fab lesson at the beginning of the month to now being officially a light hack IF the bute keeps him sound enough. Feel like all my dreams have gone out of the window and I feel so sad - very emotional atm which isn't like me - I even cried when Michael Jackson died

I opened this post hoping to find some comfort in other people feeling similar to me. However, having read what most people are currently going through, I have just given myself the biggest kick about how pathetic I was being.

Sorry this is a bit of random post, but I dearly hope things get better for you soon.
