I keep finding holes that literally go straight down in my field. I check every day in the most likely places but have just walked the whole 8 acres and found 2 more.
I fill them in with rocks and soil and a liberal dose of anything nasy smelling I can find...next day they have dug another one!!
They are not my favourite animal right now!!

Six years ago we had no rabbits. Now they have taken over the railway line that runs alongside our field and we are overrun with them. As fast as the grass comes through the little blighters eat it. On top of the swan invasion we had last year I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever have grass again.

We have had a major rabbit boom/problem this year! they seem to have popped out of nowhere! they have taken over all 8 acres, not one little bit of grass doesn't have rabbit poo in it! and massive holes all over the place.

We have had to get a man with a gun in to shoot them :(

We are over run with them - massive holes all over the fields, all over the garden, they have even dug down to the membrane in the school, and then they have the cheek to sit on the rockery looking in through the sitting room window ..... and this is all despite the fact we have two dogs to chase them, and foxes and buzzards to scare them off!!!!!!

We live next to a large fairly wild dog walking style public park (grass and wooded areas as opposed to cultivated borders and swings). The council will not deal with the rabbits 'because the public like to see the bunnies'. Consequently we find holes appear under our fence and in our field every day. We can only shoot them on our land, and not towards the park, nor can we clean out the warrens next to us as they are on council land. Grrr.

You can buy a powerful air rifle which is enough to kill them without having to have a gun licence. Butchers are usually more than happy to take fresh kills as they can generally get £2 per rabbit.
If you're a bit squeamish you can also advertise to have your fields 'trimmed' which is a country term for a bunch of guys going lamping. They don't normally charge as they keep any rabbits they kill.
A friend of mine also used an owl but I think that might be a bit extreme and it would have to be a pretty big owl!!

We don't bother doing anything to the rabbits. We have a couple of foxes around, badgers loads of wildlife. But we don't bother killing them or anything. I think were quite lucky really though because if we do get wholes then there around the edges of the fields .. but if there are holes then we put a big stick in there. But other from that thinking of it we just dont bother. I know some people put rocks and everything down though.

We do have myxy periodically. We find that apart from the joys of having to despatch the worst sufferers we are now breeding myxy resistant rabbits:(

We do try to shoot ours with an air rifle, we've also tried long netting - great for catching hedgehogs, not so good for buns. We can't use ferrets as the burrows are on the railway land. There's a fox earth in one corner of the field and they seem to be very adept at catching chickens but just aren't keeping on top of the rabbits.

My shetland's stable is now hopefully bunny proof. They started digging for England a few weeks ago and poor pone was surrounded with holes in his shavings bedroom. His outdoor garden is now wired up and every gap bricked up... just waiting for super bunnie to jump the 4ft gate - then there will be trouble!
