In the gale force wind and rain in the Southeast...lol..!!

I managed about 25 mins before I admitted defeat and I ride whatever the weather.....but thought I'd better quit while ahead tonight and before I ended up with a mouthful of sand....lol!! :D

Pretty horrific in south west too! For some reason I got on my fresh horse, in the indoor (he is not a fan of in the smallest of winds and in daylight) and proceed to jump angled skinnies! He was a saint! and I had gone and put my body protector on and everything given the weather conditions! they do surprise you sometimes :)

Yes they do.....mine was pretty good considering as he hates wind. But the wind was so strong I thought it was going to blow us over...lol..! :)

Yup but I'm in the north west and it was blowy but not toooo bad . Horsey was very good, though we had a minor head toss and ears back when it started to rain!

3 of us went for a hack this afternoon, it didnt seem that windy until we got out in the open fields it was really bad, they were all well behaved even had a canter and my friends horse has not been hacked for two weeks because of the snow, could have been much worse but we were lucky:)

Forgot to add I even did a bit of schooling afterwards he went really well to.

Southeast here and yep daughter rode her pony last night as he had stayed in yesterday and needed a bit of excercise while I did his box. He was a very good boy but I didn't chance riding my WB in it!!

Not ride but I was mad enough to take yearling out for walkies in the village... She was fine :)

Yep rode my daughters connie as she hates to ride in the wind and Monday evening was even worse here and he didn't get ridden. Hopped on with the wind battering us and driving rain and he was as good as gold.

The rain dried up for an hour or so up here, so we were just left with gale force wind. What better time to get back on a youngster that hasn't been ridden in over a week? :D

We had a few acrobatics but nothing major :)

Put Martingale on my mare last night expecting the worst - we have an indoor but open windows & gaps in roof! Was howling through - expected some freakishly naughty behaviour! There wasn't a peep out of her, she really went lovely so it just shows you - expect the worst & it will never be as bad as anticipated!
