Have replied to the mail I received containing this and appraised them of my opinion.

I dont have an opinon on this really. If someone wants to buy a pony who is irrisponsible they will anyway, it happens everyday! Advert or no advert

I bought my daugter a pony for Christmas a few years ago, well we bought in September and kept her a secret until Christmas. Maybe they are aiming it at experience horse people as oppose to some nunpties, my daughter was a good rider and was 10 at the time.

I think it's more the wording and examples given. Impression of a nagging kid and buying a pony (6 months - 3yo all unbroken) for them to have.

I think it happens anyway, but a little irresponsible with the phrasing and horse examples.
