It's the time of year love
Everything seems flat after the hustle and bustle of Xmas and new year.
You'll pick up a bit with lighter nights coming now.
Smile ! You know you want to !

I totally sympathise, tired, too much to do and a bit of relationship problems. I too lost a friend at the end of last year and i miss her. Have a bath, a big sleep and hopefully things will seem better in the morning (try going for an early morning walk, that always helps me). Also don't feel guilty about eating a lot, if you think about it you do HAVE to eat after all :)

I feel sad too. Poor us. My horse is sick and at the hospital, im tired, stressed, i cant drink any gin (in case have to rush to hospital) and i generally feel glum, so i feel your pain.

I brought cherry pie and custard in a small attempt to cheer up, shall I send you some?!

I always try and do one Big(gish) things on my 'list' in the morning, then you can feel good for the rest of the day and not have that horrible weighted down anxiety because you're thinking about what you have to do.

I feel exactly the same! Last few days I've been so down, moaning at OH , skint and no motivation to ride. Have just been going to the field, cuddling and grooming him! Must be the January blues!

I'm the same, just sitting around eating and going on the computer. I only work one day a week at my current job so don't have to get up and do anything particular. I don't have a horse to go out and see so no motivation for anything. I'm hoping once I've moved home, got a new job and a horse then things will look up!

Damn the fact that on HHO you are probably miles away from whomever you are talking to, or we could all meet up, eat some icecream (or similar) and cheer eachother up!

My days seem like a roller coaster of highs and lows , just have to keep thinking about the highs and hope the lows bog off soon , sending a friendly squeeze your way..

i am beyond sad - my horse of a life time is coming to the end of her life, i have 2 friends [ only in their 40s] with cancer and have just done the maths & it will take me aprox 2 yrs to save up for my next horse [ which will prob be my last]
iwas actually relieved to be ill today so that i could curl up in bed & weep

love to all suffering the winter blues or other sadness
