I've never been to one of Monty's shows before, but as my OH has successfully used a trainer to help overcome our mares loading issues, I thought it would be interesting.

Without a doubt it is a showcase for Monty's NH, but none the worse for that, and the fairly informal atmosphere and of course comments and participation from Martin Clunes helped with that too.

I enjoyed the evening and so did my OH, and it was a good job I booked early, as the Hand was absolutely full up.

I was there, it's the 4th time I have been to see him and I enjoyed it again. I was a bit concerned that he looked a little out of control on Corky doing his flying changes, but I am sure he was fine. Corky is a cracker and whoever the lucky person who is allowed to buy him will be very lucky.
We ahd to leave before the loading as my friend hadn't been well all day and was starting to feel yucky again. I expect there was rather a lot of carpark rage later on as they had stuffed so many cars in most of them were blocked in by other cars, luckily we could squeeze out but would not have been happy if had been blocked in by another row of cars!!!
I have bee practising getting my horse to come to the mounting block this morning.....not too bad!!. can't see me getting a trampoline anywhere near her though!

The car parking was... interesting. Not sure why they ran out of space, surely the ticket sales would have given them a clue to the number of attendees.

Anyway, we knew it would be mad, and also there were huge queues to get out of the building, so we hung on and had a chat with Kelly and Jerry (from Horseworld), also got a few words with Martin, who was obviously in demand!

Your right, Corky was something, I was also impressed by his rider Alex.

Yes I was there and absoloutely loved it :D had never been to any Monty demonstrations before but would certainly go again! Wish I could be the lucky person to buy Corky...he was lovely :)

I didn'y go last night but I have seen him several times and read some of his books. I just think he is a genuine kind man, and I have loved learning his ways and methods. It's so satisfying when the horse reacts exactly as they do for him, it makes such a difference to when they learn to trust us and so relax and become easy to do.
I can recommend joining his online university, it's like individual tuition fromthe man himself:)
