I have been using lwp for approx 3years now and they have always been fab. I open a bag and put it in a wheelbarrow and pour approx half a bucket of water on and you used to be able to see it puff up almost instantly but now i pour the water on and have to wait forever for it to puff up and its just not as absorbant anymore. Has anyone else experienced this???
Many thanks*:)

Slightly off subject, but I used them for the first time today. My old horse was convinced they were pony nuts and rather scarily started to scoff them. Anyone else had that problem?

Not with the wood pellets, but my mare will eat the straw pellets. None of the other horses do, so she stays on wood pellets whilst the rest are on straw pellets.

When i first put them down my mare walked in and grabbed a few mouthfuls, but then she realised they don't taste nice and stopped. I wouldn't worry unless yours keeps eating them
