Anyone else turned into a fair weather competitor?

I had planned to go SJ today but it is throwing it down

I have to hack there and it takes about 40 minutes and just couldn't motivate myself to get soaked hacking and then hanging around waiting for my class. A few years ago I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it but I think I'm becoming more of a fair weather competitor these days.....anyone else the same?

I will probably go for a short hack later so hopefully cannot be described as a fair weather rider (just a competitor)..............

Yes I have!! I entered a comp today and would usually do two dressage classes. As it forecast rain I only entered one so that If I didn't go cause of the rain, then I would only lose one entry fee!! Glad I went as we got a second!!
