Then shopping for mum's b-day which is today (so cann't ride tonight), may not sound like a bad thing but she never tells you want she wants and has no hobbies!!! Plus I HATE shopping unless horse related then I'm gone for hours.

So I wish there was more time and light in a day, anyone else think the same??

Now im back at school I have no time, being in my last year too Ive got load of course work to do too

Im often down at the yard riding at 8-9 o'clock at night to fit everything in, good job we have floodlights! xx

I do too! I work full time so it's up the yard quick sharp in the morning, quick hello, then off to work to miss her for the day, then quickly pick up OH when finished, home and feed dog, chuck dog in car (

) then head up yard, now it's turning dark quick I can't get much enjoyable riding in - school is floodlit but water stands in it so it gets really claggy in wet weather. It's a mass exodus at weekends when there's a bit of light.

I try to ride at least twice during the week, once at weekend as mine's old and I'm terrified she'll get stiff if I don't ride regularly. Weekends are spent doing everything else you couldn't do during the week so riding not much easier then either.

YES!! horses + work = no sleep no social life! Things I fully accept and i still spend every spare second at the yard but a few extra hours to get the Z's in would make all the difference to me!

Trust me - 3 horses, a full time job, a husband, a house to do up, ime lucky enough still to have mom and dad living close by and a pretence of a social life.

Whats house work and what is more than 6 hours un interupted sleep ?
