left their normally stabled at night horses out tonight?
or are we just mean?

We decided that the filly and the arthritic one could stay out all night tonight for the first time this year. Not long after making this decision it chucked it down

As they are rugged? and well fed.... then not a problem...

Its what nature intended.... much better for them...

Our Welsh section A is so fat we are now leaving her out - she is like a massive woolly bear!!! she does have a dodgy leg so being out will help her... she isnt rugged either....

nope even broken ones come in :-( if you want winter turn out they go to the other fields up the road, only downside is you loose your stable if you do winter turnout :-( last winter if you paid for your stable you got to keep it but we have so many new people moved on and people wanting a space when one comes up! the YO has decided not to offer this option this year :-(

My usually stabled horses are back out 24/7 now, we dug out the stables when the weather started to come nice the other week because we couldnt catch them for love nor money. They wanted in though when it came frosty last week, not suprising since Indi came in with icicles attached to his whiskers. Back out now and loving it, only problem is yearling keeps climbing out of his rug like everyday so am afraid if it carrys on its staying off.
