I snook into my OH shed yesterday to see a stash of 3 sledges he's obviously prepared for the snow...
They haven't been out yet though, much to his disappointment

I can't keep up with it all either, poor horses must be wandering what on earth... lol
Very mild tonight too, so Toby is back in his l/w stable rug with fleece under mind.
I am getting him a new h/w stable with neck tomorrow ready for the chilly weather to come back.

We will see Snow I reckon in the new year now.

Its so strange, this year my horse is five mins from my door instead of over an hours walk away, and last year i had to traipse for hours and hours a week in snow up to my knees to go and feed him. I rent a field and move him close to home and we have only had a few inches of snow...

Bought jerry cans and a sledge for emergency water carrying from my house.
Stocked up on hay/feed/supplements to last the winter
Bought him a new 450g rug as he is wintering out

and the most we have had is a bit of frost and a few inches of snow.
Typical.
