Anyone else's dog obsessed with the xmas tree ?

2 year old bordercollie Rebel is completely fascinated with our xmas tree , he was last year and has'nt forgotten , if ever a dog could smile i swear he did when i opened the box !. He likes the shiney lights and any reflections off the baubles on the walls and ceilings , he soon learnt that the lights could be made to dance again when he nudged the baubles with his nose , so will spend hours sitting next to the tree , did get abit carried away last year and got his foot stuck in the tinsel and brought the lot crashing down !
Does anyone else have a dog that does this ?

Our Mannie(mummy's baby) would demolish the christmas tree if he got to it !! he is obsessed with ball, hence xmas tree baubles to him are balls and he needs them!!!!! mind hes also obsessed with my socks and boots - no one elses just mine, then again hes mommys baby!!!! he just wants me to throw them so he can fetch them back - hes persistant , and sometimes a darn pest!! but I love him.

My dog was completely thrown by the idea of a tree in the house covered by shiny things, and went totally ballistic - no Xmas trees for me!
