Anyone elses horse gone out naked today?

Fabulous weather here today - gorgeous crispy snow, bright blue sky and warm sunshine, so slung the black and white one out nudey. Felt her about an hour ago and she's like toast! Anyone else going au naturel?

Yaye me too. Hairy boy gone out today naked. Was so nice to see him rolling about in the crispy snow, didnt think he was ever going to stop! Going to fetch them in shortly as looks like the snow is coming again.

It's still utterly freezing here - but if it warms up then I will take the rugs off mine, would be nice to let them breathe a bit and get some sun on their backs after weeks and weeks of constant rug wearing...!

My two unclipped ones are out without a rug today, but the clipped pony is in a medium weight.

no mine are still rugged but i have reduced the layers as it is very slightly warmer here today though it is peeing it down!!!!

mines still in his stable, rugged up... -10 here.. i think hed freeze.. he is fully clipped though!

Our 15 are up on a 20 acre field all with rugs on, they are on their holidays from the riding school till 7th jan. They are having a ball, only mine would come to me today the others looked at us and thought "not on your nelly am I coming in" Even carrots would not work, but Penny thought with her stomach typical!!!

Yup - 2 WB yearlings, standardbred yearling and 3yo cob all gone out in the nuddy today

Hardest part is getting the beggars in later on.
Only one that gets a rug when she goes out is the clipped TB.

he is a baby and has the thickest coat i have ever seen!

I know of an unclipped warmblood who sunbathed for a while today. Then the fog arrived

, but he was still toasty when i checked. Now back in, and naked in stable for an hour or two.

Happy as a pig in muck, not much of a coat though, it is -14 now at 6pm and he is still naked. Still no flipping snow though.

Mine were naked several days last week - but it's been chucking it down today...so they've had LW rugs on
